Our privileged location allows our visitants to enjoy the multiple options that Andorra offers.
On the one hand, Andorra is a great place to enjoy the Pyrenees, its mountains and the nature in all its splendor. During winter, its alipne skiing resorts (Grandvalira and Vallnord) are perfect for those who love ski and winter sports. During summer, you can enjoy an excursion to a lake or all kind of action sports in theme parks such as Naturlandia.
But on top of that, you could also go for a walk in the capital of Andorra where shopping is also one of the most popular "sports", or enjoy its leisure and culture options. Lots of activities at your disposal with Camping Frontera Park!
WINTER SPORTS
Andorra is a dream come true for winter action sports lovers. In this tiny country hidden in the Pyrenees mountain range, we find three ski resorts that organize all-kind of activities that one can imagine. Whether your want alpine or nordic ski, snowboard, a sled pulled by huskies or a hotel made completely of ice does not matter; Andorra as everything.
Camping Frontera Park is close to these resorts: there is a 15 minute drive to Grandvalira (Funicamp), 20 minute drive to Vallnord (Telecabina de La Massana-Pal) and also a 20 minute drive to Naturlandia. When snow melts, all these resorts adapt themselves and become adventure parks where we can enjoy other action sports such as horse riding, a nautrist roller coaster or even play gold at 2000m above the sea level
SHOPPING
Andorra is known for its wide commercial offer; one can spend the whole day walking around its stores looking for the products they want. This option is ideal to enjoy after a day skiing or hiking.
TOBOTRONC
Naturlandia is a natural theme park locatd just 20 minutes away from our facilities with a different range of activities that varies across the four seasors: during winter, snowshoes or nordic ski and during summer horse riding, zip-lines or archery. Nevertheless, the most popular activity is absolutely the Tobotronc: a giant naturist roller coaster 4km long that goes down the mountainside through the forest.
HIKING
One of the most popular activities during spring and summer time is obviously hiking. For those who dare to get lost between the mountains, to climb to the highest peaks or to enjoy the peacefulness at the edge of a lake, Andorra is definitely the place to be.
CALDEA
Caldea is the biggest surface with thermal water in Europe. It is more than a health resort. Inside there are several thermal routes and more than 80 treatments to help you forget about everything and just relax.
MUSHROOM HUNTING
The geographic conditions of our campsite make it a great place for mushroom hunting during fall. The campsite itself is surrounded by forest; one can access specific mushroom hunting areas only 10 minutes away form the campsite by car.
ROWING SPORTS
The rowing sports of the 1992 Olympic Games that took place in Barcelona were held in El Segre Olympic Park (La Seu d'Urgell), located only 5 minutes away from the campsite. Nowadays, it has become an adventure park where one can enjoy several activities such as Rafting, Open-Kayak, Canoe Slalom or HydroSpeed.
